Mail and Package Deliveries/Pickups: With the University’s re-opening on July 7th, University Mailing Services will resume mail and package deliveries and pickups.
Our delivery personnel will be following the guidelines set forth by the University
and practicing social distancing as much as possible. Please bear with us as these precautions may increase delivery times.
Along with the unlocking of the buildings, UMS will need to deliver packages to a
person in your department. If your department will continue telecommuting and will
need to continue picking up your department’s mail and packages at UMS, please email UMS@okstate.edu with your mail stop location and department. Your mail will be available for pick up between 2:00 pm and 4:30 pm, Monday through
Friday.
Passport Acceptance – open by appointment only between the hours of 8:00 - 11:00 am and 1:00 - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Passport
applicants will be required to wear face coverings and adhere to the guidelines set
forth by the University. Plexiglas barriers are in place and the area will be sanitized

University Post Office –open to allow customers to buy stamps and postage during normal business hours.
The front door will remain locked in order to maintain social distancing guidelines
and a doorbell has been installed to ring for entry. Plexiglas barriers are in place
and the area will be sanitized after each customer. Customers will be required to
wear face coverings and adhere to the guidelines set forth by the University. A package
shipping station has been setup outside on the dock with everything needed to prepare
your package for shipment. This station is sanitized daily, and incudes hand sanitizer
and disinfecting wipes for your use.
Student Residence: Your mail and packages are being sent to Brumley office for distribution.

All student desk top mail, defined as metered or stamped mail, is delivered by University
Mailing Services (UMS) to residential halls the same day it is received from the United
States Postal Service (exception below). Once desk top mail has been tendered to
each residence hall, residential hall personnel sort and distribute the desk top mail
to students' residing at the hall. University Mailing Service does not sort and/or
distribute desk top mail directly to students, unless requested.

At Residential Life’s written request, UMS will hold all desk top mail during holiday
breaks. Mail delivery services will resume on the date specified in the written request
by Residential Life personnel.
Small package parcels, defined as packages that are sent using a tracking
number, will be delivered to each respective residence hall. In the event that the
residence halls are not receiving small package parcels, provisions can be made for
the student to pick up the package at UMS if the tracking number is provided and photo

All DHL, FedEx, and UPS shipping prices quoted are estimates only and do not include
